FREE TV Licence for over 75’s
Any one in Manchester age 75 and over is entitled to claim a free TV Licence for their main address. 
There are currently over 50,000 free TV Licences issued each year in Manchester and TV Licensing has asked us to encourage any of our members who are eligible for the concession to apply online or by phone. Contact Good Neighbours if you need any help with this
The free licence will cover all the equipment in the property, so as well as TVs it will cover watching TV on PC’s, laptops, tablets or smartphones. Family or carers living in the same home will also benefit
Anyone aged 74 or over can begin planning for the concession immediately by applying for a short-term licence which will last up until they become 75 when it will become free
