Fireman Kevin Walker ran a 3 hour First Aid training session for 20 volunteers and staff at CGN on Nov 5th 2014. The main areas covered were treating an unconscious patient who is breathing, knowing the recovery position, what to do with a severe bleed , burn or choking, signs of a stroke and heart attack and how to perform CPR and use of a defibrillator.
It was a fascinating session, with plenty of laughs and practice on dummies and each other.
