We are very grateful for people inquiring about helping out and volunteering with Chorlton Good Neighbours during this COVID-19 crisis. However, for the moment we are focusing on getting a sense of what local need is and who might be needing some support.
Volunteers who are already with CGN, ( DBS checked and trained ) are offering to support with shopping and telephone buddying, and so we are unable to recruit any new volunteers at this time .
We are meeting with local Councillors soon to talk about the community response , and it may be that we will be asking for more help in the future…..but for the time being we feel we have sufficient cover.
