Here is the zoom link to next Thursday 2nd September‘s History talk starting at 1.30pm, by Tessa Boase on Emily Williamson , who founded the RSPB in response to her abhorrence of the trade and fashion for feathers and plumage. Tessa is running a campaign to have Emily better recognised so will tell us the history and how the campaign is going . As you know there is a blue plaque in Fletcher Moss Gardens dedicated to Emily Williamson.
