On May 16th 2024 Chorlton Good Neighbours had a party to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D Day Landings. Some of our older members gave their personal memories of the celebrations on VE day towards the end of WW2. In addition Jolivia Gaston read us two poems – Conflict and Liberation – with her reflections on the end of the war
