CGN’s Friday Exercise Class with Don

  CGN run 3 onsite exercise classes in St Ninian’s Hall. This is the Friday class led by Don O’Connor which runs from 10-11am each Friday and is aimed at exercises which help in building up strength and preventing falls  

Memories of Bonfire Nights past

Typical Manchester Bonfire Nights we remember. A discussion about  bonfires, bangers, rip raps, penny-for-the guy, parkin, treacle toffee, chestnuts, catherine wheels and much more. They were real community events in which we as kids played a central role, but they were also dangerous
