“Snowed In” performance at HOME

On Thursday January 17th 2019 the Good Neighbours drama group gave a performance of the comedy “Snowed in” at HOME.

It was featured in Propel – #HOMEinspires part of the PUSH festival 2019. Here is what Nakib Narat (writer and producer on “Snowed in” had to say about it:

“Snowed In – is my second, cheekier, surreal, comedy about singing cats with Christmassy, Halloweeny and Scooby Doo mystery themes.  It will be nerve wracking and exciting in equal measure as, this time, we are in the 450 seat theatre.    We are all about older people living their lives fully: learning, creating and staying unique. Life in Manchester is about living and growing, not cocoa and an early night! Thank you Home Inspires for equal generational access to Manchester’s Arts scene! ”

It was a great experience for us all, playing to an audience in a big theatre like HOME. It went well, everybody played their part and gave their all.

Now on to the next set of drama workshops in February!
