Drama group presents – “Staying Alive for Barry …

The CGN drama group performed their new production “ Staying Alive for Barry …” at the coffee morning of Aug 15th. The play wasbased around improvisation work the group  did. The linking theme of transport portrayed different groups of local travellers all rushing to get to see Barry Gibb  (of BeeGees fame) give a one-off performance on Chorlton Green, using either the tram, bus or even a hot air balloon. As with previous productions there was much humour and lots of singing (“Staying ALive” of course was included)

The drama group are giving anouther performing at the Festival of Manchester in Platt Fields on Saturday 31st August at about 4pm so please go along to support them if you can.
