Two day trips out each with full coachloads of 51 CGN members and volunteers.
The first trip in July was to Rhos on sea where people had a lovely 2 course meal at a pub near the Promenade and then had the rest of the afternoon looking in the shops or just enjoying the sea air. We actually set out with the clouds and rain threatening but luckily the sun did come out for a couple of hours when we needed it.
The trip to Trentham gardens couldn’t have been more different as it was on one of the hottest days of the year. This meant of course that everyone could enjoy the gardens , but we needed sun cream, sun hats and plenty of drinks. As usual we thank the volunteers who go along to push wheelchairs or just be helping hand and of course those volunteer drivers who get our older members to and from the coach.

Having accessible coaches and volunteers willing to push wheelchair users, means that our trips are available to all out users
