Seasonal update Nov-Dec 2019

Thank you as always for your support to our History talks this year and below isthe programme for the first half of next year.
The final talk for this year will be next Thursday 5th December from Dr Kingsley Purdem from Manchester University who will be talking about the history of voting , how our habits have changed over the years and the reasons why
This talk is not about Brexit or the forthcoming elections, its focus is on past history,  so I hope you will come along and enjoy an informative talk. He visited us earlier in the year to test the theory that as we get older (85years+), we no longer really bother voting, but we introduced him to 93 year Rose at Thursday coffee morning who told him that she said she had voted recently
