The day trips remain as popular as ever, particularly if it involves a nice meal some where and a coach ride that is no more than an hour away. Former trustee Marc Grundy found a brilliant pub in Mellor , and so a full coach load of 51 went there mid February for a two course meal, endless tea and coffee and a couple of games of bingo. Everyone said the meal was fantastic and the staff so helpful and friendly. People also appreciated as usual the help and support from all the volunteers and the drivers bringing them in to the coach and home again on the return. Thank you to everyone involved with that.
