‘Let’s Re-Imagine Our Chorlton’

Sunday 27th September 4pm – 5.30pm
‘Let’s Re-Imagine Our Chorlton’
Chorlton Great Get-Together on Zoom

Make a cuppa, bring a cake, join in our first virtual Gathering- open to all! Save the date now! We will open with the first showing of a new video, ‘Chorlton Remembers 2020: A community building together ’ being made now to recall and celebrate how our Community came together during Lockdown and since. We want your photos to go into the video of drawings, poetry and artwork of the good ideas, people and activities that have made a difference to us.

We will make vox-pop video clips and will include as many of your photos as we can of poetry, art, events and people who helped you, your family and neighbours:- how your street found good times among the bad. The video will be included in the Chorlton Arts Festival.

Please email your contributions together with your contact details to
chorltonlockdownstories@gmail.com

Or you can post (or deliver) a copy of your work to:
‘Chorlton Remembers’, c/o Helen Hibberd, Chorlton Good Neighbours, St Ninians
Church, Ellesmere Rd South, M21 0XJ
(We are unable to return them unless you include a stamped address envelope). If you want to talk about an idea, drop us an email and we’ll get back to you.

Register for the Zoom call at http://chorlton.coop/event and Let’s Re-imagine Our Chorlton – to make it into a different place that works better for all who live and work here.

A very BIG Thank you to Buzz Health & Wellbeing Service and to The Co-Op for
financing the video. Also to Open Up, Chorlton Good Neighbours, Chorlton Alliance
members and Chorlton Arts Festival for all their support. Of course we could not do
this at all, without the work of the fabulous Chorlton Connectors, our local Mutual Aid
movement!
