May history talk – Thursday 5th may at 1.30pm over Zoom .
The talk will be given by David Winpenny who will be taking a look at the factors influencing garden design and in particular buildings in gardens , ranging from Japanese tea houses to a vogue for prehistoric garden ornaments , including stone circles and dolmens. Join us to hear about grottoes, pigsties, hen houses as well as other eccentric buildings in gardens throughout the world.
