It looked at the history of tall buildings in the city and the arguments for and against the City Council welcoming and supporting the recent investment by developers in multi million pound building projects in and around the city centre. At the end there was a discussion about whether the City Council’s ‘going for growth’ policies on property have been for the good of the city as a whole or not
