Come and celebrate the King’s Coronation at Houghend Police Club
We have decided this year to hold a party for everyone at Houghend Police Club to celebrate the forthcoming Coronation of King Charles; volunteers and older members together and I hope you can join us.
This will be on Thursday 4th May so there is no coffee morning that day, nor a Sunday tea on the 7th of May. Come along in your red, white and blue so we can celebrate this momentous weekend !
We will try and arrange transport for those who really need the support, but it might not be possible to get everyone there in volunteers’ cars, so if any small groups of people can organise a taxi together, there, and back, that would be so helpful. The venue is really lovely, as you know, the meal and service excellent, David will be our DJ, and I am trying to arrange a singer as well. Any amount raised through the raffle we run will be given to the serving staff as a thank you from us. Anyway, here are the details for you:
