Thank you to everyone who turned up to our first in person history talk on May 9th
This was the first face-to-face history talk since the pandemic ; Andrew Simpson and Peter Topping spoke to over 25 people in the Hall about the old St Clements Church and graveyard and we heard some really interesting facts and had valuable contributions and questions form audience members.
Our next History talk is on Tuesday 9th June with Tim Cockitt who will be talking about Southern cemetery , how to find an individual grave , the layout and focussing on certain famous individuals from the police, military and Peterloo. More details later .
Our Positive Living Group meets next Monday 15th at 10.00am with Debra McCallion and the group will be looking at how to be a better listener and what makes for good communication ; all welcome to listen and join in .
Reminder that every Thursday we have our coffee morning as usual 10-11.15 as well as the digital drop in 9.45-11.30 am , followed by the Melodics singing group at 11.45 and the Art & Craft sessions at 1pm . Again anyone wanting to come and take a look please drop by.
Nurse Eileen visits our Coffee mornings morning on a regular basis if you want to come and discuss anything with her .
