Christmas Meal at the Houghend Police club, Mauldeth Rd West

We have decided again this year to have a Christmas lunch for everyone; volunteers and older clients together and I hope you can join us. We have booked Thursday 19th December so there will be no coffee morning that day so that we can all meet up at the Houghend centre.

We will try and arrange transport for those who really need the support, but it might not be possible to get everyone there in volunteers’ cars, so if any small groups of people can organise a taxi together, there and back, that would be so helpful. The venue is really lovely, the meal and service excellent, and Arthur will organise some bingo. Volunteer David will be doing the disco and I am hoping some students may come across from Chorlton High to sing a few carols.

We will also be doing a raffle; any amount raised will be given to the staff as a thank you from us.

Time             To arrive 12.00pm, please not much before as they are setting up the room. To eat  12.30pm. Finish about 3.00pm

Cost               Three course Christmas Meal, entertainment, bingo all for £18

Please add a further £2 for any transport or £1 home only
