Snowed in”- the Performance
On Thursday 22nd Nov 2018 we gave a performance of our comedy play “Snowed in” at Chorlton Good Neighbours coffee morning. 110 people were crammed into the hall to watch the play which was received with great enthusiasm. The Lord Mayor of Manchester was there too

Fundraising raffle
Although the charity gratefully acknowledges the support from the council through an Our Manchester VCS grant , this does mean that we have to continue fundraising throughout the year to make up any shortfall so that all our services and activities can continue. Today on Thursday 18th October we welcomed Cath Brownhill and Jenny Slee who came to give a free talk and demo of how the defibrillator works. We have just bought two 500L plastic bins on heavy duty castors. They will be used as mobile planters in the Good Neighbours garden and replace some of the wooden raised beds that have gradually rotted away.
